This mistake cost me more than $6,000

What’s up guys!

This is the literally the 1st time, I’m writing a newsletter after 5 Months.

But I need to tell you what happened with me 4 Months back.

I got a lead for my Video Editing business.

Once I tapped in to see who is it, I was blown away🤯

It was a famous YouTuber based out of US with almost 7 Million YouTube subscribers. (I won’t disclose the name)

It was a dream come true moment for me working with such a personality.

We talked through the process and agreed that I’ll do a demo video for him.

I sent him my Paypal for the payment of the demo video and he sent me the payment within the next second

(Reason I always say to work with rich clients).

I started working on the project. Delivered him! He liked the video.

One mistake I did here! I forgot to ask him how much videos does he need per week.

Later on, when I asked, he replied one every day, i.e, 7 Videos Per Week.

And that’s the moment I did a big blunder! I left him ghosted.

Oh Goshhh! I regret this every time.

Assume if I would have hired some editors and delegated the tasks, how much would I’ve been made.

I was a total As*hole!

Some important lessons I learned here that I want to share with upcoming editors:

• Never fear of the workload you’ll get! Instead grab the opportunity and learn later on how to manage it and deliver the best.

• Also, If you want to go big in the business, you can’t do it all alone. You’ll need people who can take on your tasks.
